As part of our ReciCorp® service for companies, the ReciVeci® team accompanied some mingas as training on recycling to the Foundation's team Children International, dedicated to supporting children and adolescents.
The sessions were held on February 4 and 11, 2025 at the Sperber Community Centers (La Magdalena, south of Quito) and Atucucho (northwestern area). We have the participation of Foundation collaborators and base recyclers, who were also training the team.
During the conference, information was shared with the attendees on the proper identification of recyclable waste and its subsequent classification.
To complement the process, virtual training was provided providing practical tools for more sustainable waste management in their community centers.
With these initiatives, ReciVeci®, through ReciCorp®, reaffirms its mission to connect different actors in waste management with basic recyclers, and to promote the transition to a circular economy.
