The CLIIQ Nexus 2023 Latin American Impact Investment Summit, organized by IMPAQTO and held from September 26 to 28, 2023 in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador, was a key event in the region, bringing together more than 70 speakers and nearly 200 attendees committed to impact investing.
The Summit brought together impact investors, entrepreneurs, asset owners, philanthropists and leaders from both the public and private sectors. Lorena Gallardo, Technology and Innovation Manager at ReciVeci, was representing us at the event.
During her speech, Lorena shared the experience and vision of ReciVeci, this initiative that has changed the scenario of waste management and the promotion of sustainable practices in our country, through technological and social innovation. He also highlighted the importance of impact investing as an engine of change in society and shared how our ReciVeci experience has made a difference in this field.
Thanks to our partners at IMPAQTO Cuenca and the CLIIQ Summit, ReciveCI contacted Basic Recyclers, so that they could collect the recyclable-returnable material that was generated at the event, and it was delivered to them in a direct, clean, dry and classified way. From the sale of that material they will receive 100% of those profits. In addition, they were paid for the material collection service and transportation.
The CLIIQ Nexus Summit 2023 continues to be a beacon of knowledge, encounter and collaboration in the field of impact investing, and from ReciVeci we are grateful for having been part of continuing to build together a more sustainable future together.
