ReciVeci participated in the SOCAP 2024 social impact event, a global platform that brings together social entrepreneurs, investors and foundation leaders to promote investment in sustainable solutions. Participation was possible thanks to the fact that ReciVeci was selected for the SOCAP Scholarship Program, and that Lorena Gallardo, Co-Founder and CTO at ReciVeci, was able to attend on behalf of ReciVeci.
The event took place from October 28 to 30, 2024 in San Francisco, California, and allowed us to connect with entrepreneurs and impact funds, opening up horizons and new possibilities for growth and international collaboration.
One of the most inspiring moments of the event was the opportunity to hear from Christiana Figueres, one of the most influential voices in the fight against climate change. Sharing a space with such an admirable leader was an honor for the ReciVeci team.
As part of the SOCAP Scholarship Program, there were meetings with innovative people and projects from different parts of the world, with whom it was possible to share achievements, experiences and challenges on the path of entrepreneurship. This experience allowed us to learn about the universe of impact investing, and to continue strengthening alliances to make a circular economy a reality in Ecuador and the region.
We thank SOCAP Global and Sorenson Impact Institute for this wonderful opportunity. We are inspired and motivated to continue building the path of the circular economy for Ecuador and Latin America.
