On December 14, 2023, the 2nd edition of Art and Recycling, an event where we find common ground between art and recycling and we pamper grassroots recyclers and their families.
The event was held at the CEGAM (Centers for Education and Environmental Management) of Eloy Alfaro, and it had free services of dentistry thanks to Real Dental, clothing donation thanks to the Usa Reusa initiative, and Hairdressing and Aesthetic Station thanks to the Fashion International Occupational Center; all available to the attending basic recyclers and their families.
During the event, the mural created by the artist and muralist Lucho Loaiza was also unveiled, as part of the proposal of these events to dignify spaces associated with waste through art. In addition, a band attended that enlivened the meeting.
The Art and Recycling events were born from what ReciVeci is an ambassador for the Pimp My Carroça project (Brazil) in Ecuador, and this is the 2nd edition that we have under the sponsorship of Tetra Pak® to pamper recyclers and embellish CEGams.
