Reciclatón - Aseguradora del Sur 2024

On April 16, 2024, recycling was carried out at Aseguradora del Sur. The ReciVeci team made up of 1 staff, 1 promoter and 2 recyclers (Elvia Endara and Nelly Chango) began collecting recyclable materials from the different areas of the company at 9:30am.

During Recycling, basic recyclers classified the recyclable waste and then weighed it while the developer recorded the weight on the record sheet. Once the recyclables were classified and weighed, they were placed in covers and sacks.

At the end of the day, the recyclable material was collected and loaded into a recycler van that transported the material to the collection center for the basic recyclers.

In total, 73.5 kilograms of recyclable materials were recovered, benefiting 11 basic recyclers of the Association “For a Better Future”. The recycling of these materials avoids the emission of 220.26 kilograms of CO2 equivalent to the atmosphere, as well as the extraction of virgin raw materials.
