Recyclable waste recovery project in the Cumbayá parish - Cumbayá Recicla

Cumbayá Recicla is an inclusive recycling project that aims to recover recyclable waste with the inclusion of basic recyclers through several strategies, including: the differentiated collection of recyclable material at generating points, the implementation of recycling stations at strategic points and the coordination of recreational events for the recovery of recyclable waste.

In this regard, at least 5 field tours were carried out to identify generation points such as: bars, restaurants and cafeterias, of which 10 collection points have been identified. Also, 3 recycling stations have been installed in: El Potrero de Lumbisí, La Primavera 2 and Creatium. Finally, events have been held for the recovery of recyclable waste, including: Recycling at the National Brewery plant, Activation of recycling in the Cumbayá Park and the Influencers Route so that citizens can learn about the work of basic recyclers and the ReciVeci recycling stations.
