Project overview
This project includes several strategies to enhance the recovery of recyclable glass in Quito, benefiting over 150 local recyclers. First, machinery will be acquired to optimize the HUB’s operations. Concurrently, a communication campaign will promote glass recycling and illustrate how the HUB connects all stakeholders for material recovery. The project will also provide incentives for recyclers who deliver the most glass to the HUB, along with exciting prizes for the community. Additionally, capacity-building workshops will be offered to the 150 participating recyclers, covering various topics of interest and personal development tools.
