Aseguradora del Sur presents its 2024 Sustainability Report and reaffirms its commitment to responsible business transformation.

04/2025

Asuradora del Sur presented its 2024 Sustainability Report, a document that consolidates the company's progress in environmental, social and governance matters. The launch event brought together allied organizations, representatives of the private sector and civil society, in a space where experiences, learning and new challenges were shared.

Among the highlights, Nicolás Muñoz, communicator and influencer, gave a presentation on sustainability from a generational perspective, analyzing how generations Z and millennials prioritize environmental and social impact in their consumer decisions, and how companies such as Asuradora del Sur are responding to these new expectations.

The report shows advances in key areas such as sustainable mobility with the TryMyRide program, energy efficiency with the use of solar panels, responsible waste management, the creation of a community recycling center and the strengthening of an organizational culture based on well-being and continuous learning, through initiatives such as the urban garden and the SABER Corporate University.

From ReciVeci, we celebrate the publication of this report and we value that our alliance is recognized as part of its circular economy strategy. As mentioned in the document:

“Our alliance with ReciVeci has been a fundamental pillar in our circular economy strategy, directly benefiting 60 basic recyclers. This effort has not only allowed us to manage waste more efficiently, but it has also generated a positive impact on the community, improving the quality of life of these workers and formalizing their work in a historically vulnerable sector.”

Together we have implemented actions such as Business Recycling, which managed to recycle more than 200 kg of waste and avoid the emission of 400 kg of CO₂ eq.

In addition, with the support of Aseguradora del Sur, we organized the ReciMañana Divertida in April 2024, a day that offered waste pickers and their families free health, wellness and recreation services, reaffirming our shared commitment to socio-economic inclusion.

We especially thank María Cristina Arellano, Sustainability Specialist, and María José Cevallos, Sustainability and Corporate Relations Manager, for their leadership and constant openness to working together. This alliance demonstrates that it is possible to move towards sustainability that balances impact, well-being and business purpose.
